Calculator data
Resolution, frame rate, compression, duration, capacity, and buffer inputs are processed in your browser. The calculator does not need an account and does not send those inputs to a BRAW Planner database.
Local storage
If optional advertising is enabled, the site may store a simple consent value in your browser so it can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional advertising cookies. You can remove this value by clearing site data in your browser.
Server and hosting logs
The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Retention and handling are governed by the hosting provider’s applicable terms and policies.
Advertising
The codebase supports Google AdSense, but advertising loads only when valid publisher settings are configured and a visitor accepts optional cookies through the site’s consent control. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement, fraud prevention, frequency control, and personalization according to their policies.
Before public advertising is enabled for visitors in regions that require it, the site owner should connect a Google-certified consent management platform and review the current AdSense consent requirements. The built-in preference banner is a technical starting point, not legal advice or a substitute for a certified CMP where one is required.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures page visits and a calculator-use event to help Naveed improve the website. We do not include calculator field values, footage, names or email addresses in those events. Google receives technical request information when the analytics service is used.
Analytics and advertising personalization are separate: this integration disables Google signals and advertising personalization. You can reject analytics and still use every calculator feature. Use “Analytics preferences” below the footer to change your choice. Rejecting disables future analytics collection and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site; it does not erase data already collected by Google.
Your preference is stored locally as braw-analytics-consent-v1. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may need to be made again on a later visit. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles information.
Your choices
You can use the calculator without accepting optional advertising cookies. You may reject optional cookies, clear stored consent, block cookies in your browser, or use privacy controls offered by advertising providers.
